Decatur MPA 2010 Details

Please read the following information concerning directions for the Decatur MPA. 

  1. Students need to leave cases on their busses.
  2. Bus Drivers will need to return to DHS after the bands have finished
    performing.
  3. Check out the attached flow charts.

MPA Decatur Percussion Information

Decatur High will provide on stage:  bass drum, timpani, keyboard instruments (vibes, xylophone, marimba, chimes) Decatur High does not provide snares, sticks, mallets, cymbals, triangles, etc.  All other equipment needs to be brought by the individual bands.

Sight-reading room:

Decatur High will provide bass drum, tympani, and a mallet instrument but bands must bring their own mallets for these instruments.  Individual bands must bring snare drums, crash cymbals, and suspended  cymbal.
