MPA Dates 2010

As you should know the ABA has voted for a one shot assessment starting next year.  This assessment will be called the MPA (Music Performance Assessment) and the dates will be determined by the individual districts.  A series of emails to the directors of District 1 has resulted in the following announcement.

Dear District I Band Directors,

Many of you know me, but you may not know that I am in my 20th year of being in the 313th Army Reserve Band, located in Hoover, Alabama. People have a lot of pre-conceived notions about being in the Army, but I can tell you that being in the Army Reserve Band is a great gig!  I am obviously sending this for you to pass along to quality upperclassmen (current sophomores through seniors) in your band. The benefits are HUGE!  We are looking for musicians in every area, especially woodwinds!
