Our Summer In-Service Conference will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, June 23 & 24, 2010 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Orange Beach. The Music Selection Committee and the Board of Directors will be meeting on Tuesday, June 22. Our Wednesday schedule will begin with a clinic from Dr. Martin Cochran on “Breathing for Band”, followed by “Fund Raising for Dummies” presented by Becky Warren.
We are encouraging everyone to attend the inaugural ABA Adjudicator Certification Clinic presented Wednesday afternoon by Dr. Ken Ozzello from 1:00 – 5:00 PM. This should be a priority for everyone whether you plan to pursue Certification or not. On Wednesday evening, at 6:30 PM we are inviting everyone and their families to fellowship by the pool with entertainment provided by the AJE (hors d oeuvres will be provided by Craig Henson and Cline Tours). Thursday morning there will be a meeting of the ABA followed by “What I learned in the Sight Reading Room”, presented by Randall Coleman. We are honored to have Dr. Edd Jones close out our conference as the latest edition in the Ol’ Fogies Series. Look forward to seeing you there!!
